Looks great, but annoying that I can't download it without the App Store as it is only available in the US. I just want to use it so I can see my blood sugar in the menubar. I can't use the one I was using before because it is no longer compatible with the new MacOS

An amazingly useful meme bar item to remotely follow the blood glucoses from a Dexcom G5 or G6. The menu item is unintrusive, yet very clear and highly customizable. A wonderfully useful utility!

This Mac app is similar to the (also free) Nightscout Menubar app ( https://github.com/mddub/nightscout-osx-menubar ) . The great advantage of this Sugarmate Glance app is that you do not need to go through the somewhat difficult setup of your own Nightscout website. This app makes it convenient to see a current BG in the Mac menubar. So for example you can conveniently see your kid’s current BG while using your Mac. In this version it does not display the delta from the previous reading(s), which appears to be a small bug (Nightscout Menubar does this).
The companion iOS app has a very well thought out interface and data reporting, far superior to the Dexcom G5 Mobile apps. You must be running the Dexcom G5 Mobile App on your iPhone or Android phone to enable data to upload to your account on the Sugarmate site ( https://www.dexcom.com/apps ) for this menubar app (and the companion iOS app) to obtain data from your Dexcom transmitter and sensor.
